Led construction teams comprised of as many as 15 sub-contractors. with a total of 10 crews; crews composed approx. of 4 each.  Conferred with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems. Inspected or reviewed projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, or other regulations and environmental regulations. Planned, organized, or directed activities involving construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems. Studied job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.   • Installed high $150,000 pressure natural gas fueling system for Pepsico in Orlando (large compressors, regulation equipment, above and below ground high and low-pressure piping) Value: 120K (American Construction)
  • Installed two ($150,000 each) propane to natural gas conversion systems at two state penitentiaries (complete systems, concrete base, installation of pressure regulation equipment, approximately 20,000 feet of 2″ underground piping, conversion of all equipment inside of facilities to CNG (American Construction)
  • Carmel Valley Ranch Resort, Carmel Valley CA (Installation of underground electrical ducts for data and phone lines, approximately 5,000 ft., Construction of stairs and walkway from club house to pavilion area – 400 ft., Construction of various interior club house offices. Demolition of restaurant interior and large fire place.

Marvin V. Kimmie – Superintendent/Project Manager

EXPERIENCE

Over 20 years in the construction industry encompassing safety, risk management, hazard identification and waste management, quality control, supervision of employees and subcontractors, writing project plans and documentation, scheduling, preparing and reviewing bid proposals, and preparing budgets. Strong technical and methodical aptitude and aggressive in identifying and resolving inefficient operational processes. Direct hands on experience in the field with electrical, plumbing, carpentry (rough and finish), masonry, roofing, painting and drywall.

DENNIS PHIEFER / construction MANAGER / consultant

EXPERENCE

Over 40 years of extensive background in the construction industry including commercial and multi-family projects. Construction Manager, Consultant, and participating Joint Venture Partner with RCT on new commercial and multi-family projects. On-site supervisor of commercial, multi-family, and single-family restoration projects, providing estimating, job costing, and contract administration. Aids in the procurement of subcontractors and vendors to perform segments of project construction, design-build services; and works closely with RCT to utilize the Joint Venture process to gain large-scale commercial and multi-family projects.

SKILLS

Writing contracts and purchase orders, cost analysis, customer service, scheduling of jobs and personnel, safety control, leads by example, self-starter, honest, quality conscience, and holds a State of Florida Certified General Contractors license, as well as general contractor’s license in Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Texas, Missouri, and Indiana. Dennis has also helped write Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board test questions for new contractors and was nominated as a Board Member to the State of Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board.

COMMERCIAL GENERAL CONSTRUCTION – PHIFER INDUSTRIES, INC

State of Florida Certified General Contractor specializing in public, private, and governmental projects both bid and negotiated. Oversees the day to day operations including job acquisition, bid and estimating, presentations and Request to Bid documentation for prospective clients, cost analysis, accounting, bonding, contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, insurance, payroll, project and construction management, and overall responsibility of up 25 employees and dozens of subcontractors. Specialize in multi-family and condominium projects, warehouses, strip malls, cold storage buildings, auto dealerships, office buildings, primary and secondary schools, pre-engineered metal buildings, design-build projects, water and wind mitigation, historical renovations, and high-end single-family custom home construction and renovations.

Justin Bucher – Estimator / Consultant

EXPERIENCE

Site inspections and abatement in the insurance restoration industry. His life experience includes his years in the military as a Squad Leader, Drill Sergeant, and Platoon Sergeant and brings his strong discipline and organizational skills to the insurance restoration industry as a skilled estimator.

Works closely with mitigation, contents, abatement, reconstruction, and customer-care-coordinator managers to schedule projects, track progress, and ensure project completion metrics are met in a timely and satisfactory manner.
